Legal
Terms of Service
Effective date: July 10, 2026
1. Who we are
Learning Blocks (the "Service") is a learning platform, available on the web and as a mobile app, where people create, share, and take interactive courses. The Service is operated by Ahmed Alabaas Hassan Ahmed, an individual based in Türkiye ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at mindofahmed@gmail.com.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms") and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Who can use Learning Blocks
Learning Blocks is open to learners of all ages, with one important rule: if you are under 13 years old (or under the age of digital consent in your country), you may only use the Service with the verifiable consent of a parent, legal guardian, or your school. A teacher or school that adds students under 13 to a classroom confirms that it has the authority and any required parental consent to do so.
If you accept these Terms on behalf of a school or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes the organization.
We may suspend or remove any account we reasonably believe was created for a child without the required consent.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials safe. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and let us know right away if you believe someone else has accessed your account. You may not sell, transfer, or share your account with others.
4. Courses you create
You own the courses, lessons, and other content you create on Learning Blocks ("Your Content"). We do not take ownership of it.
So that the Service can work, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and adapt Your Content (for example, resizing images or formatting lessons for different screens) for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service. When you publish a course publicly or share it with a code, this license includes making it available to other users. This license lasts as long as Your Content remains on the Service.
You are responsible for Your Content. You confirm that:
- you have the rights needed to post it, including any text, images, video, or other material it contains;
- it does not infringe anyone else's rights; and
- it complies with these Terms and applicable law.
5. Acceptable use
Learning Blocks is a place for learning. When using the Service you may not:
- post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate for a platform used by children;
- impersonate others, mislead learners, or spread deliberate misinformation presented as fact;
- cheat or manipulate XP, streaks, leaderboards, or any other progression system;
- scrape, copy, or redistribute other users' courses outside the Service without their permission;
- attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts; or
- use the Service to send spam or unsolicited promotion.
We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these rules. For serious or repeated violations we may terminate the account.
6. Classrooms and teachers
Teachers can create classrooms that students join with a class code. If you are a teacher or school administrator, you are responsible for how you use classroom features, including making sure you have the right to enroll your students and to view their learning progress. Students in a classroom can see shared classroom information such as the class leaderboard.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Parts of the Service are free. Some features require a paid subscription. How you are billed depends on where you subscribe:
- On the web, payments are processed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. Their terms and refund policy apply to those purchases in addition to these Terms.
- On iOS and Android, subscriptions purchased in the app are billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds for those purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Prices may change, and we will give you reasonable advance notice before a change affects an active subscription.
For purchases made through Lemon Squeezy, contact us at mindofahmed@gmail.com if something went wrong and we will work with you on a fair resolution, subject to Lemon Squeezy's refund policy and your statutory rights.
8. XP, streaks, and virtual items
XP, streaks, hearts, badges, and similar features are part of the learning experience. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value outside the Service, and may be adjusted or reset if we detect cheating or need to fix errors.
9. Our content and the platform
The Service itself, including its design, software, logos, and any content we create, belongs to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app and website for their intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows it.
10. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on Learning Blocks infringes your copyright, email us at mindofahmed@gmail.com with a description of the work, a link to the allegedly infringing content, and your contact details. We will review and, where appropriate, remove the content. We may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
11. Ending your account
You can stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you seriously or repeatedly violate these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and a chance to export your courses before your account is closed.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be available, error-free, or that any course's content is accurate. Courses are created by users, and their content reflects the views of their creators, not ours. Nothing on the Service is professional advice.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or, if you paid nothing, to 100 US dollars.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
14. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We are a small, actively developed product, and features will change over time. We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Türkiye, unless the consumer protection laws of your country of residence give you the right to bring a claim locally.
