Your account
Delete your Learning Blocks account
You can delete your Learning Blocks account and the personal data on it whenever you like: on this website, in the app, or by email. You don't need the app installed to do it.
How to delete it
On the website
- Sign in at learning-blocks.net.
- Open Settings.
- At the bottom, choose Delete my account, type your username and confirm.
In the app (iPhone and Android)
- Open the Profile tab.
- Tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- Tap Delete Account at the bottom and confirm.
✉️ By email, if you can't sign in
Write to mindofahmed@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We delete it within 30 days and reply when it is done.
Parents and guardians of a learner under 16 can ask us the same way to delete the child's account.
What is deleted
As soon as you confirm, we erase:
- your email address, username, display name and bio;
- your profile picture;
- your password, so nobody can sign in to the account again;
- your phones' notification tokens, so they stop getting notifications;
- the link between your account and any subscription.
What is kept, without your name
Some records stay because other people rely on them, but they are no longer linked to you and show as “Deleted user”:
- Courses you published or used in a class stay available to their learners. To take a course down too, delete it before you delete your account.
- Drafts you never shared stay private: nobody can open them.
- Your lesson progress, XP, and places in classes and on leaderboards, so teachers' class results and course statistics stay correct.
- Ratings you gave courses and reports you filed.
- Moderation records, such as reports about the account and bans, to keep the community safe.
- Payment records, which Apple, Google Play and Lemon Squeezy (our website's payment provider) keep as the law requires.
- Short-lived backups and server logs, which expire on their own schedule.
If you have Premium
Deleting your account cancels a subscription bought on this website. It does not cancel one bought in the app, because that belongs to your Apple or Google account. Cancel it there first, or the store keeps billing you:
- iPhone: Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions.
- Android: Play Store, then your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
